WHAT DAYS OF THE WEEK AND HOURS IS DOGGIE DAYCARE AVAILABLE?

Doggie daycare is offered Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm.

DOES MY DOG HAVE TO COME EVERY DAY?

No, we do not recommend your dog come every day.  Doggie daycare is a lot of activity and stimulation for your dog.  Most dogs are VERY tired when they go home at the end of the day.

We ask for a one day per week commitment.  This can be one full day or one half-day.

Most of our customers bring their dogs one to three days per week - depending on their dog and their schedule.

WHAT VACCINATIONS DO YOU REQURE?

All dogs in doggie daycare or training class must be current on:

1. distemper / parvo
2. bordetella (for kennel cough)
3. rabies (if over 6 months of age)
4. negative fecal within last 12 months

All dogs in daycare or training class must also be on a preventative for heartworm, flea and tick and be parasite free.detella (commonly called kennel cough)

Proof of vaccinations is required the first day of daycare or training class.  You may bring a copy of the vaccinations with you or you can have your vet fax them to Happy Hounds at 262-502-3636.

DOES MY DOG HAVE TO BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED?

Males over 6 months of age must be neutered.

Females do not have to be spayed. However, females cannot attend daycare when they are in-season.

DO YOU OFFER PUPPY DAYCARE?

Yes, we offer puppy daycare for puppies 8 weeks old and up. Puppies must be current on their distemper / parvo vaccine based on their age and must have their bordetella vaccine.

ARE ALL THE DAYCARE DOGS TOGETHER IN ONE GROUP?

No. We separate the dogs into play groups based on their play style. We have 4 playrooms at Happy Hounds with over 6,000 square feet so everyone has lots of room to run and play!
